Shady Cliff MarinaDeepwater Estates is the last piece of preferred -- yet affordable -- lakefront property available on Lake Malone. No where else in the region can one find as large a tract of pristine waterfront property, in as beautiful and peaceful a setting, with such fabulous views. Deepwater Estates is nearly 100 acres in total with an astounding 7,200 feet of water frontage. There are 75 building lots and proposed future development of one or two 30-unit lakefront condominium buildings.

Every lakefront lot has private dock rights. Also, every view and interior lot has access to the lake through a shared community lot, dedicated to a playground, picnic, barbeque, and boat dock area. Every lot offers tree coverage for as much as or little privacy as you like. Every lot also has its own utilities (county water, phone, fiber optics and power), and Deepwater Estates is the only subdivision on the lake with a dedicated sewer system (approved by the State of Kentucky). All neighborhood roads will be paved and will be maintained by the county.

ADeer at Lake Malonebout Lake Malone, Kentucky

Located in the northwestern tip of Logan County, Kentucky, this 1200-acre lake is a nature-lover’s dream, a visitor’s delight and a photographer‘s paradise! The tranquil lake reaches depths up to 100+ feet, and its water table does not vary throughout the year (unlike many other lakes) due to its fixed dam. It is a naturally beautiful and unspoiled environment, thick with tall pines and magnificent cliffs flanked by unbelievable sandstone walls, a rock bridge and musical waterfalls along the lake’s shores. There is also a cave which is said to have sheltered the infamous Jesse James Gang in their heyday.

Lake Malone State Park
Lake Malone State Park is a 338-acre retreat in Kentucky's Muhlenberg County, located on the shores of Lake Malone. Boating & Water Sports
The dock at Lake Malone State Park is the starting point for a pleasure ride on one of Kentucky's most beautiful lakes. Because of the mild climate in the region, the lake is accessible for year-round enjoyment including boating, water skiing, jet skiing, rafting and canoeing. Boat rentals are available seasonally, as well as dock & facilities, a beach and a child-friendly swimming area. Lake Malone State Park has 72 open slips for seasonal rental, and at the dock you can stock up with all of your fishing supplies and sandwiches for your lunch. Rental pontoons, fishing boats, and pedal boats are available at the State Park May 1 through September 15. There is also a commercial, full-service marina on the lake, available through much of the year, offering pontoon rentals, boat slips and restaurant.

Fishing
"An angler's delight" describes the crystalline waters of Lake Malone. The fishermen in your family can try their skill at catching channel catfish, rockfish, largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, redear sunfish, and record-setting trout. For the real fishing enthusiasts, there are numerous fishing tournaments throughout the year.
